All funders must have the minimum qualifications for either: (1) Startup stream or (2) Growth stream.

(1) Startup Stream

Have already received a minimum of $100,000 (CAD) of private investment
Endorsed by their private investor(s)
Have a minimum of 2 full time employees
Be seeking investment in 2020
Have operations in British Columbia, or intend to have operations in British Columbia within 18 months

(2) Growth Stream (qualification may be adjusted based on sector)

Have a combination of revenue/investment over $5,000,000 (CAD).
Have a lead private investor/investment firm.
Have a reasonably verifiable valuation range exceeding $20,000,000 (CAD).
Be seeking private investment in 2020-2021 over $1,000,000 (CAD)
Have operations in British Columbia, or intend to have operation in British Columbia within 18 months.
Preference will be given to companies that are EBITA positive or that can reasonably expect to be EBITA positive in the near future.

The Selection Committee retains the right to adjust criteria based on best fit, strong endorsement from participating investors, and/or unforeseen circumstances.
