An update on the 2020 #BCTECHSummit
March 16, 2020
In light of the ongoing public health concerns surrounding COVID-19, and in response to the directive by Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.’s Provincial Medical Health Officer, to cancel any gathering larger than 50 people, we’ve made the decision to cancel the 2020 #BCTECHSummit.
Every year, we look forward to bringing the B.C. tech ecosystem together to network, learn and do business at what has become western Canada’s largest tech conference. But nothing is more important than the health and safety of our team members, partners, attendees, vendors and community.
The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve rapidly here in British Columbia and Canada, and we believe that everyone, including us, has a role to play in the collective response.
Over the coming months, we’ll explore how we can engage with the B.C. innovation community through alternative avenues. We invite you to share your thoughts to marketing@innovatebc.ca.
All guests who have purchased tickets to the 2020 #BCTECHSummit will receive a full refund by March 31. If you don’t see a credit by then, please email info@bctechsummit.ca.
